Ingredients

  • 2 packets Mr Chen’s Dumplings, Honey Soy Chicken or your favourite
  • 200g dried egg noodles
  • 1.2 litres chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 heads pak choi, sliced
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced, to serve
  • Chilli oil, to serve (optional)

Method

Cook the noodles according to packet instructions. Drain and divide between four serving bowls.

Meanwhile, heat the sesame oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken stock and soy sauce and bring to a gentle simmer.

Add the frozen dumplings and cook according to packet instructions, until piping hot and cooked through. Add the pak choi for the final 2 minutes of cooking.

Ladle the broth, dumplings and pak choi over the noodles. Top with spring onions and a drizzle of chilli oil, if using, and serve immediately.
